Voor-Groenberg Nursery is one of South Africa's foremost nurseries offering a variety of wine-, table- and raisin grapes grafted on numerous rootstock cultivars.

The production of constantly improving grafted vine plants has been Voor-Groenberg Nurseries' passion for over 55 years. We originated as a group of small family operations and have grown into one of South Africa's foremost nurseries offering a variety of wine-, table- and raisin grapes grafted on numerous rootstock cultivars. Voor-Groenberg Nurseries is situated near the town of Wellington in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The soils, climatic and irrigation water conditions around Wellington are ideally suited for our system of grafting. In 1989 the family operations were combined into one company which today includes two experienced viticulturists responsible for technical support, selection and evaluation of scion and rootstock material, as well as a third viticulturist managing exclusive breeding programs. They also provide consulting services to clients for rootstock and cultivar selection. We produce more than 4 million grafted plants of wine-, table- and raisin grapes annually, and supply more than 1 500 award winning clients in the wine, raisin and table grape industries. In conjunction with our partners, Vititec (wine grapes and rootstocks) and SAPO (table- and raisin grapes) for the supply and phytosanitary maintenance of rootstock and scion material, as well as various breeding programs abroad, we are able to supply our clients with the best cultivar clones the world has to offer. Our sister company, VG Nurseries International, serves international clients in all parts of the world, including countries in North and South Americas, Africa, Middle East and the Far East. Experience gained internationally provides excellent opportunities to follow latest trends and to evaluate new clones and also different new cultivars, as well as new cultivars thereby meeting the increasing demand for improved quality and production levels.
